Every winter, the state of Pennsylvania operates a program that helps families who need help paying their heating bills. Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) offers grants that vary from $300 to $1000 based on household size, region, income, and fuel type. Remember: these are grants and DO NOT need to be repaid.
